Thank you for this, Chuck. So often online, we present only our happy faces thinking that no one wants to hear of our challenges. I really appreciate the honesty that went into your post. You and Chiew have motivated me to take better care of my own health, and I’m sure you’ll motivate others to do the same.

Honesty is beautiful, but it can be seen as painful and brutal, I think of your heart often Chuck and hope you are taking good care of it. I think we all lie to ourselves about many things and really I think we all we know we do – it causes great stress. It was good to read your thoughts. I look forward to your poetry, your eloquent writings and musings on your life taking care of your heart. I look forward to your change.

Woa Chuck, I knew you’d had a few health problems but I hadn’t realised just how serious they were. Glad to hear you’re doing better now buddy, and admire you for writing so openly about it all. You have such a great big heart – so make sure you keep it pumping properly big guy!

  4. I’m so moved you shared this with us.
Teachers like me, who have discovered the power of online development also are MORE likely to be moving LESS. Physical activity has always been less appealing to me compared to the world of books and words, now online. I’m struggling to have self discipline and exercise more.
May you enjoy a wonderful life without trying to do everything for many many years to come!

    Congratulations on your improved health.

I think we all lie to ourselves about our health. Some of that lying is harmful; some of it is necessary to sanity.
