Dear Matt,
Thank you for your comment and especially highlighting number 7, because I think what you take is all about what you give. Being enthusiastic is very important if you want "learning" in your classroom:) Thanks again...

Hi Esra,

Thanks for this nice post. I really like #7. I completely agree that your students are always looking to you for how they should react to an activity. If you are enthusiastic, they will be too!

Dear Mike,
I totally agree with you. You can apply some of them to every group of students. The important thing is to realize that you can get ideas from anywhere as long as you look from the right point just like you do. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Hi Esra (and Barbara)!

A very nice list of tips for teacher of Young Learners. I even think some of them can apply to more grown-up learners too. I can think of several students (teens and upwards) that would do well when the teacher uses your tips 6-10.

Thanks for sharing =)

I love these tips, Esra! I plan on taking a magic wand and magic glue to my very next kindergarten class. I'll tell them that I got the wand and glue especially for them from a friend in Turkey :-)

The concentration chant is also wonderful. Such a simple transition, but I can really see how it would work.

And of course, we can never go wrong with respect and love!

Thanks for sharing these.
